  • Your private guide will meet you at your hotel to begin this tour.
  • See the principal and many off-the-beaten path sights around this bustling metropolis while you get around the city like a local.
  • This tour includes a combination of private transportation and walking to allow you to get an in-depth experience.
  • Stop at an interesting cafe or coffee shop for a snack and some people-watching.
  • Meander through Bohemian San Telmo and the Iconic La Boca Neighborhood.
  • Finish with a stroll through upscale Puerto Madero and its many restaurants and shops.
  • This is a half day tour lasting about 4 hours and is generally done in the morning, allowing you free time for lunch and the remainder of the day.
Evening Wine Tasting Event or Tango Show
Your choice of an evening experience in Argentina's vibrant capital.(Wine Tasting)

For tonight, you can choose from two experiences that make up important parts of Argentinian culture.

Choose from wine tasting at a local bodega (cellar) in the Palermo neighborhood, or a Tango Show with dinner included at the Viejo Almacen.

*You'll enter your preference during the payment process.

Wine Tasting

  • Wine tasting includes tasting of 5 or more wines and pairing with different local appetizers.
  • A professional sommelier will explain about the different wines and foods that you are trying.
  • This is a great way to learn about some of Argentina's most well-known (and also more exclusive) wines and varietals.
  • Transportation to the cellar is not included.  It is located in Palermo, walking distance or a short cab ride from most of our recommended hotels.
  • An excellent pre-dinner activity, as there are many excellent restaurants right near the cellar (recommendations will be provided so you can make a reservation if you'd like).

Viejo Almacen Tango Show

  • Your other option for this evening is to see the renowned and authentic Tango show at the Viejo Almacen.
  • This show generally includes 4 Tango couples, as well as a local folkloric show.
  • 100% live music and dancing by top professionals.
  • Pick up from your hotel is at 8:45 p.m. (the show starts at 9:00).  You'll likely want to have dinner before the show, unless you like to eat late (in true Porteño style!).
  • Note: It is also possible to include dinner with the show, at an extra cost.  The food is good but relatively expensive compared to restaurants in the area of your hotel.  If you'd like to include dinner with the show, please let us know and we can arrange it for you.
  • Private transportation to and from the show are included.

F.A.Q.

Are your trips group trips or private trips?

Answer:

Any arrangements made through us are for

you and your traveling companions only.  We do include certain excursions and activities in various destinations that are run on a group basis (like boat rides to view glaciers, or biking with wine tasting, for example) and these are noted in the itinerary details, but your trip is unique and yours alone.

Do you book my flights or do I have to do that myself?

Answer:

We'll always send you a quote for any local fli

ghts needed for your trip (and international flights as well, upon request), but it's not a requirement that you book flights through us.

Once you've added a bundle to your trip request, you'll have the chance to see some current local flight options via our tool, but it's a good idea to wait until we email you your trip confirmation before booking local flights.

What guides do you work with?

Answer:

We work with exceptional, top local guides in e

very country and destination that we offer.  Our guides are locals who have intimate knowledge of the areas and activities they are guiding, and a large majority have extensive experience in the industry as well as studies in the tourism field.  All guides speak excellent English.  Guides are employees of our local partner companies (read more about them here), adding to the level of support behind your trip from start to finish.

What is the transportation like?

Answer:

Transportation to and from airports and hotels

is always private (a car, minivan or van just for you and your traveling companions, depending on the number).  Transportation during excursions or activities is generally done in private, except during excursions noted as "small group" or "shared".  You'll never find yourself on a large tour bus with us.

Do you have any certifications or accreditations?

Answer:

Yes, we are a Registered Seller of Travel in th

e state of California and are an IATA/IATAN accredited company.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Answer:

We don't sell travel insurance directly.

We work with a company called Allianz.  Follow the link below to visit their site for a quote, or to speak with a representative. Allianz Travel Insurance

Do I need a passport and/or visa to travel?

Answer:

All visitors must have a valid passport to ente

r and proof of onward passage. Your passport should be valid for at least six months after your departure date.

Is your company insured?

Answer:

Yes.

We carry a $1 million professional liability, errors and ommissions insurance policy.
