  • Visit the Lima Historic Center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where you will visit the Cathedral of Lima, located in the Plaza Mayor, the most important church in Peru built between 1542 and 1622, and one of several beautiful colonial buildings which are an important part of the identity of the city.
  • Then you will walk to the Casa Aliaga - house of the Viceroyalty handed over by Francisco Pizarro to one of his captains (Jerónimo de Aliaga) when he founded the city.  Casa Aliaga is an authentic jewel of colonial architecture currently inhabited by family members.
  • Continue your tour visiting the Church of Santo Domingo, built at the end of the sixteenth century, which concentrates several altars and sculptures of the Viceroyalty, exposing different eras and aesthetic manifestations.

  • You'll return to your hotel before lunch.
  • This is a half day excursion lasting around 4 hours, door to door.
