F.A.Q.

Are your trips group trips or private trips?

Answer:

Any arrangements made through us are for

you and your traveling companions only.  We do include certain excursions and activities in various destinations that are run on a group basis (like boat rides to view glaciers, or biking with wine tasting, for example) and these are noted in the itinerary details, but your trip is unique and yours alone.

Do you book my flights or do I have to do that myself?

Answer:

We'll always send you a quote for any local fli

ghts needed for your trip (and international flights as well, upon request), but it's not a requirement that you book flights through us.

Once you've added a bundle to your trip request, you'll have the chance to see some current local flight options via our tool, but it's a good idea to wait until we email you your trip confirmation before booking local flights.

What guides do you work with?

Answer:

We work with exceptional, top local guides in e

very country and destination that we offer.  Our guides are locals who have intimate knowledge of the areas and activities they are guiding, and a large majority have extensive experience in the industry as well as studies in the tourism field.  All guides speak excellent English.  Guides are employees of our local partner companies (read more about them here), adding to the level of support behind your trip from start to finish.

What is the transportation like?

Answer:

Transportation to and from airports and hotels

is always private (a car, minivan or van just for you and your traveling companions, depending on the number).  Transportation during excursions or activities is generally done in private, except during excursions noted as "small group" or "shared".  You'll never find yourself on a large tour bus with us.

Do you have any certifications or accreditations?

Answer:

Yes, we are a Registered Seller of Travel in th

e state of California and are an IATA/IATAN accredited company.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Answer:

We don't sell travel insurance directly.

We work with a company called Allianz.  Follow the link below to visit their site for a quote, or to speak with a representative.

Do I need a passport and/or visa to travel?

Answer:

All visitors must have a valid passport to ente

r and proof of onward passage. Your passport should be valid for at least six months after your departure date.
