Day 1
Welcome to Buenos Aires

You've arrived - welcome! After clearing immigration and customs and retrieving your luggage your adventure will begin. Our local partner has been expecting you and will be eager to greet you on arrival.

  •  International arrival.  You'll be met and welcomed by your private guide.
  •   Private transfer to your hotel. The trip from the international airport (EZE) is about a 45 minutes, and around 15 from the domestic airport (AEP).
  • Depending on your flight schedule you may have some free time to explore near the hotel.

    Day 2
    Private Buenos Aires City Tour

    Today is an opportunity to get to know iconic Buenos Aires with an in-depth and privately guided experience. You'll visit the principal and many off-the-beaten path sights around this bustling metropolis on foot and with vehicle transportation included. Visits can be customized so if you have any specific interests be sure to let us know!

  •  Your private guide will meet you at your hotel today and you'll embark on a customized tour of the city with a true Buenos Aires expert.
  •  Explore the trendy Palermo Soho neighborhood with its many restaurants and boutique shops.
  •  Get to know posh Recoleta where you'll have the chance to view the city's famous cemetery where many dignitaries lie, including Eva Peron.
  •  Continue to downtown where you can see the Casa Rosada and Obelisco.
  •  Have a walk through Bohemian San Telmo to see interesting shops, cafes and plazas.
  •  Later you'll drive to the iconic La Boca neighborhood for a chance to see the colorful local flair of one of Buenos Aires' most famous areas.
  •  In the early afternoon you'll return to your hotel and will have the balance of the day free.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 3-4 hours, door to door.

    Additional Exploration on Own

    Today you have the day free for exploration on your own. If you prefer to have a guided activity today, that can also be easily arranged. Some fantastic activities include:

  •  Walking and vehicle-based touring in Buenos Aires.
  •  Bicycle tours in the city.
  •  A visit to an estancia in the Argentine Pampas with horseback riding or other activities.
  •  An excursion to Tigre and the delta with a boat ride or kayaking.

    Travel to Iguazu Falls | Private Tour to the Brazil Side

    Today you head north to Iguazu Falls for in-depth exploration of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

  •  Private transfer to the airport.
  •  Domestic flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls.
  •  Private transfer to your hotel.
  •   Afternoon tour of the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls.
  •  Your private guide will meet you at your hotel and you'll head across the border to tour the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls.
  •  You'll walk the system of viewing terraces with your guide who will explain about the history and geography of this unique area.
  •  The Brazil side of the falls offers a more panoramic view of the national park, versus the Argentine side which has more close-up viewing opportunities and a larger trail and walkway system.
  •  After your visit, you'll return to the Argentine side and your hotel where you'll have the balance of the day free.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 3-4 hours, door to door.

    Day 5
    Private Tour of Argentine Side of Iguazu Falls

    Today you'll spend time with your private guide on the more expansive Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, exploring the many trails and viewpoints of the side that comprises the majority of the park's total area.

  •  Your guide will meet you at your hotel and you'll make your way to the park entrance to begin your tour.
  •  You'll take an electric train for a visit through the park with 2 stops until you reach the massive "Devil's Throat", the largest of the waterfalls.
  •  You'll return by train to visit the upper Argentinean falls, where you'll have a nice panoramic view.
  •  In the afternoon you'll continue to the lower circuit of the falls for more viewpoints and the chance to do a boat ride if you'd like (the boat ride is about $60 per person and can be paid directly).
  •  Note that if you prefer to walk more trails (like the excellent Macuco trail), this is also an option today - just let your guide know and more walking/trekking can be included.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 4-5 hours, door to door.
  • You'll be dropped off at your hotel after the tour and will have the balance of the day free.

    Travel to Rio de Janeiro

    Today you depart for Brazil's iconic coastal metropolis.

  •  Private transfer to the airport.
  •  Domestic flight from Iguazu (IGU) to Rio de Janeiro.
  •  Private transfer to hotel.
  • Depending on your flight schedule you may have some free time to explore near the hotel.

    Day 7
    Private Corcovado and Downtown Rio Tour

    Today you'll get an in-depth overview of this unique and bustling city with your private local guide.

  •   You'll be met at your hotel in the morning by your private guide and will head to the base of Corcovado Mountain by car, passing by Rio's beaches and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon on the way.
  •  Reaching the Cosme Velho district, you'll will take a unique Swiss cogwheel train that climbs the mountain from its base to nearly the summit.
  •   The very top is reached by climbing a flight of stairs to arrive at the iconic Christ the Redeemer Stature.
  •  The view, from this vantage point, with the surrounding Tijuca National Forest spreading below and a circle of mountains closing the horizon at the very back of the Guanabara bay is truly spectacular.
  •  After some time to walk around and take photos, you'll make your way back down and will then begin making your way back toward the beaches and your hotel, passing several points of interest along the way, including downtown, the Selaron Steps and Copacabana Beach.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 4 hours, door to door.
  • You will have the balance of the day free.

    Private Sugarloaf Mountain and Botanical Gardens Tour

    Continue your exploration of some of Rio's most beautiful places.

  •   In the morning you'll be met by your private guide and will depart for your excursion up Sugarloaf Mountain.
  •  A series of two cable cars will take you to the top of Sugar Loaf. At the top, again some of the most breathtaking views of Rio, this time from a different vantage point than at Corcovado.
  •  Later you'll make your way to the Rio Botanical Garden.
  •  The garden has over 6,000 different species of tropical and subtropical plants and trees, including about 900 varieties of palm trees.
  •  There is also a variety of wildlife in the garden, particularly birds, and Toucans can frequently be spotted in the treetops.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 4-5 hours, door to door.
  • You will have the balance of the day free.

    Depart for Home

    Today your adventure comes to an end and you'll begin your journey home.
