Day 1
Welcome to Buenos Aires

You've arrived - welcome! After clearing immigration and customs and retrieving your luggage your adventure will begin. Our local partner has been expecting you and will be eager to greet you on arrival.

  •  International arrival.  You'll be met and welcomed by your private guide.
  •   Private transfer to your hotel. The trip from the international airport (EZE) is about a 45 minutes, and around 15 from the domestic airport (AEP).
    • Depending on your flight schedule you may have some free time to explore near the hotel.

    Day 2
    Private Buenos Aires City Tour

    Today is an opportunity to get to know iconic Buenos Aires with an in-depth and privately guided experience. You'll visit the principal and many off-the-beaten path sights around this bustling metropolis on foot and with vehicle transportation included. Visits can be customized so if you have any specific interests be sure to let us know!

  •  Your private guide will meet you at your hotel today and you'll embark on a customized tour of the city with a true Buenos Aires expert.
  •  Explore the trendy Palermo Soho neighborhood with its many restaurants and boutique shops.
  •  Get to know posh Recoleta where you'll have the chance to view the city's famous cemetery where many dignitaries lie, including Eva Peron.
  •  Continue to downtown where you can see the Casa Rosada and Obelisco.
  •  Have a walk through Bohemian San Telmo to see interesting shops, cafes and plazas.
  •  Later you'll drive to the iconic La Boca neighborhood for a chance to see the colorful local flair of one of Buenos Aires' most famous areas.
  •  In the early afternoon you'll return to your hotel and will have the balance of the day free.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 3-4 hours, door to door.

    Additional Exploration on Own

    Today you have the day free for exploration on your own. If you prefer to have a guided activity today, that can also be easily arranged. Some fantastic activities include:

  •  Walking and vehicle-based touring in Buenos Aires.
  •  Bicycle tours in the city.
  •  A visit to an estancia in the Argentine Pampas with horseback riding or other activities.
  •  An excursion to Tigre and the delta with a boat ride or kayaking.

    Travel to Iguazu Falls | Private Tour to the Brazil Side

    Today you head north to Iguazu Falls for in-depth exploration of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

  •  Private transfer to the airport.
  •  Domestic flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls.
  •  Private transfer to your hotel.
  •   Afternoon tour of the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls.
  •  Your private guide will meet you at your hotel and you'll head across the border to tour the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls.
  •  You'll walk the system of viewing terraces with your guide who will explain about the history and geography of this unique area.
  •  The Brazil side of the falls offers a more panoramic view of the national park, versus the Argentine side which has more close-up viewing opportunities and a larger trail and walkway system.
  •  After your visit, you'll return to the Argentine side and your hotel where you'll have the balance of the day free.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 3-4 hours, door to door.

    Day 5
    Private Tour of Argentine Side of Iguazu Falls

    Today you'll spend time with your private guide on the more expansive Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, exploring the many trails and viewpoints of the side that comprises the majority of the park's total area.

  •  Your guide will meet you at your hotel and you'll make your way to the park entrance to begin your tour.
  •  You'll take an electric train for a visit through the park with 2 stops until you reach the massive "Devil's Throat", the largest of the waterfalls.
  •  You'll return by train to visit the upper Argentinean falls, where you'll have a nice panoramic view.
  •  In the afternoon you'll continue to the lower circuit of the falls for more viewpoints and the chance to do a boat ride if you'd like (the boat ride is about $60 per person and can be paid directly).
  •  Note that if you prefer to walk more trails (like the excellent Macuco trail), this is also an option today - just let your guide know and more walking/trekking can be included.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 4-5 hours, door to door.
    • You'll be dropped off at your hotel after the tour and will have the balance of the day free.

    Travel to Mendoza

    Today you will travel from Iguazu in the north to Mendoza where you'll immerse yourself in Argentine wine country.

  •  Private transfer to the airport.
  •  Domestic Flight from Iguazu to Mendoza.
  •  Private transfer to your hotel.
    • Free time to relax upon arrival. Depending on your flight schedule you may have some free time to explore near the hotel.

    Day 7
    Private Lujan de Cuyo Wine Expierience

    In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by your private guide and driven to the Lujan de Cuyo area south of Mendoza where many of Argentina's best wines are produced.

  •   You will visit 3 wineries today, in the company of a specialized guide. You will generally (but not always, see below) visit the following wineries:
  •  Bodega Carlos Pulenta – Vistalba. This is boutique winery, has a very interesting production of premium wines.
  •  Tapiz Wines with its medium-sized vineyard that develops not just popular wines but also rising, lesser-known ones.
  •  Bodega Septima, where you'll have a gourmet lunch. This winery, while having grown to a large size, has maintained the production quality a small scale winery with personalized service and outstanding wines.
  •  The restaurant at Septima is one of the region's best, and you'll enjoy a five-course meal with food and wine paired perfectly for the day and surroundings.
  •  Note: Wineries might change, depending the season. The specific wineries will be confirmed when you receive your final trip documentation.
  •  This is a full day tour lasting about 8 hours, door to door.

    Private Mendoza City Tour

    Get to know more of this quaint Andean foothills city with your private local guide.

  •   Your private guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning and you'll be transported into town (or if your hotel is in town you'll start right from there) to begin your tour of this quaint city which was founded in 1561.
  •  Stroll along the many tree-lined streets (several of which are only for pedestrians) and visit the main plaza where local artisans come to meet and offer their crafts for sale.
  •  View Mendoza's many colonial buildings (Mendoza has some very interesting colonial architecture), including the Basilica of San Francisco.
  •  Later you'll head by vehicle up on the hill above the city to the beautiful San Martin Park, a great place to get some views and take in a bit of what daily life is like for a Mendocino. The park has an excellent rose garden and a large lagoon where rowers can be seen practicing.
  •  Head back down with the option to be dropped off at your hotel, or perhaps at a restaurant for lunch.
  •  This is a half day tour lasting about 3-4 hours, door to door.
    • You will have the balance of the day free.

    Travel to Buenos Aires | Depart for Home

    Today your adventure comes to an end and you'll begin your journey home.
