There are fancier options available for those desiring something more luxurious, but Hilton checks all the boxes for a comfortable, top-level stay in Peru's capital city.
El Calafate (Town)
Located just outside of downtown El Calafate, right along the lakefront, Xelena is a fantastic option for a full-service, high end Patagonia hotel to serve as a base for exploration in the area. The hotel offers a full range of amenities including a lovely indoor pool and restaurant, all with sweeping views of Lago Argentino. Many excellent restaurants in town are reachable via a short taxi ride, and walking along the lakeside boardwalk is a nice option for free afternoons and evenings.
Torres del Paine
Located on the northeast edge of Torres del Paine National Park in the shadow of the Paine Massif, Estancia Cerro Guido offers a unique experience for this part of Patagonia.
